There are many causes close to the heart. These are usually diseases or situations that society faces but feels helpless to fight. Well, we are not helpless. Americans are dedicated to the fight against causes such as breast cancer awareness, the fight against domestic violence and abuse, finding a cure for autism, and the cerebral palsy cause. There are many others that tug at our hearts and move us to action.

These become trophies for the afflicted; tiny billboards that prove just how much support exists for the suffering.
