Throw ‘Spoke When Spoken To’ Out The Window

Tuesday, November 17th, 2009 - Posted by Brynn Jackson

In the age of digital conversation, how do you encourage children to speak? Around The Table has the answer. In fact, Around The Table’s portable conversation games are the answer. Throw “speak only when spoken to” out of the window. You can’t stop the jovial chatter when these games are involved.

Get prepared to be surprised by  how many uses you’ll find for these games. The possibilities just might shock the parents that come into your store and see their dream-come-true toy; courtesy of your store, thanks to Around The Table.

Car Trips—Remember those long car rides that always seemed like fun until you were actually on them? Boredom after the first few minutes is a universal feeling. Around The Table puts more pep in the ride with their wholesale educational games.

Portable travel games like “Family Talk” get parents and children involved in conversation. They help develop personal relationships and healthy conversation skills. Trust us. Around The Table’s conversation games are WAY better than trying to count the number of blurry cows.

Family Game Night—Want a game that will really entertain the whole family? “Family Talk,” “Family Talk 2,” and “Grandparent Talk” engage the whole family in conversation. Not only is the family having fun, they’re also bonding and learning valuable family history. Family game night doesn’t get much better than that.

Summer Camp—Every parent knows that “lights out” means “talk quietly until you eventually go to sleep.” If kids are going to sneak a flashlight out, this is the game that’s really worth it. “Camp Talk,” “Buddy Talk,” and “Teen Talk” get the conversation up and the trouble down.

There are countless other opportunities to play these games. Anyone who Around The Table games will be delighted to pull the games out and play them whenever possible.

Parents also love the Around The Table educational games because they are great learning tools. They encourage bonding with family members and help the child learn important family values. These games help children learn to converse well instead of relying on text and email. They’ll be able to formulate thoughts and opinions better. Around The Table’s bevy of toy and parenting awards help tell the story. These great family games can speak for themselves AND get the conversation started. It’s a parent’s dream come true.

Forget Monopoly. Try These Adult Games

Tuesday, October 20th, 2009 - Posted by Brynn Jackson

These are not your average board games and puzzles. While TDC Games Inc. does offer family games and puzzles, adults can find more grown-up entertainment here as well. After the lights go out in Little Johnny’s room, take these adult games out off the shelf and play til dawn.

When it’s gift giving season, don’t be surprised to find consumers roaming your aisles in search of the perfect gift for adults. You won’t find these adult games in Hugh’s grotto but you won’t see them next to Battleship either.

Want to play a round of Dirty Minds? Put away the perverse as players are read clues describing an everyday person or object. The clues may seem a bit adult, but only only the dirtiest minds have trouble. Guess with as few clues as possible and take home the esteem of a winner.

Other adults-only games from TDC Games Inc. include Man Laws & Woman Rules, and Sexy Secrets.

There are also teen and adult board games that aren’t of a certain mindset. These adult games are not adult-only because of the nature of the game, it’s because of the mental challenge required to play. Board games like The Green Game promote fun for Earth Day. Greed is a fun dice game. Bonehead is a laugh-riot “game of really bad ideas”. Make Your OwnOPOLY lets the player create their own board game. Sudoku 2 is a challenging board game inspired by the popular number puzzles. See, it doesn’t always have to be dirty.

TDC Games Inc. also offers puzzles for all ages. Jigsaw puzzles will never go out of style. The trick is finding one without two feet of flower gardens to manage. TDC Games Inc. has taken the fun and doubled it with their fun jigsaw games created to promote environmental friendly attitudes and good family times. There are also mystery jigsaw puzzles. Ever heard of those? You’ll never go back once you’ve tried them.

When your customers walk in and ask if you have any gifts for teenagers, adults or families, point them in the direction of board games and puzzles from TDC Games Inc. They’ll enjoy something new and you’ll be the new go-to place for entertaining gifts.

The Educational Game That Will Drive You Bananas!

Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009 - Posted by Brynn Jackson

Bananagrams is one fun, addictive and mildly challenging game that encourages players to put their best foot forward–but watch out for the “peel”!

There really is no comparing Bananagrams to another educational game. It isn’t a board game but uses lettered tiles much like Scrabble. Unlike the other popular game, Bananagrams has players playing independently of the others. While one player is amassing his words and trying to rid himself of tiles as quickly as possible, the other players are doing the same thing and finding interesting ways to “split” the competition’s chances of winning.

The rules are simple and easy to understand for children of a young age to a group of adults. Players take a certain amount of lettered tiles, try to form words with them which can read vertically or horizontally but must use at least one letter in another word. Beat the clock so to speak by becoming the first person to use all of their share of tiles without any misspelled or incorrect words.

It’s a race to the finish! But players also have to beware of becoming the “rotten banana” which means they have misspelled or incorrect words in their hand so the game continues for the remaining players. What a challenge!

Bananagrams is a wholesale educational game that is fun for the whole family. Start to finish, every player will want another round. It’s a “bunch” of fun that will leave every player going throughout their day imagining letter combinations in vertical and horizontal patterns. They may not start shouting “peel!” or “split!” ad nauseum but they’ll definitely go bananas over Bananagrams!
