Monkey Business began as a children's clothing and toy store over 20 years ago.  The founder's family has been in the retail business for over 53 years. They began with Ben Franklin variety stores.  Monkey Business has "evolved" as a result of no planning whatsoever into trendy resort stores that feature its own trademarked designs and apparel.  There are 4 Monkey Business stores in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. 

The "Jesus Said..." line started out in 1995 with one design and expanded as Monkey Business customers kept asking for more.  After several inquiries from vacationing store owners who wanted to carry the line, the Wholesale division began in 2004.  "Jesus Said..." is unique in the marketplace and sells well in all types of stores and markets. "Biblical humor" is so different that just one shirt hanging in a display window will bring customers in.  All designs are in fact based on the referenced passage from Scripture. Ministers and priests have given us great reviews.  

Monkey Business' wholesale operations are relatively new.  The products offered are the best of a much larger product assortment.  The Company is looking for retail formats that are family oriented and have a substantial teen market.
