We went to the store and bought a bunch of flip-flops and started making them made of rubber and bamboo in an assortment of colors and designs. After each flip-flop was made, we would look at it and smile at each other with pride. Danielle decided to call the flip-flops, Flippie Slippies since you can wear them as slippers in the house or outside as a flip-flop. The Flippie Slippies keep your toes warm when you get out of your bath or shower. You can even wear the flippie slippies to go outside to get the newspaper or take the dog for a walk in the morning. The Flippie Slippies are 2 shoes in one. This is how it all began.

Danielle has always been a very creative person. As Danielle’s mother, I decided to take her creativity and take it a step further by starting this business venture. At 10 years of age, Danielle has dreams and goals to become a fashion designer. We’ll see where this all leads as she dances her way through life.
