Badlands Soap
Hello, my name is Julie Amiotte Bartlett. I am a Native American Woman born and raised in the Badlands of South Dakota. I, along with my husband and 2 kids have a working cattle ranch right here in the Badlands. I started making soap in 1995 as a hobby. I personally hand make all of my products in my home.
I mix my base recipe with an alkaline solution, beef tallow, coconut oil, olive oil,rice bran oil, almond oil, Vitamin E.,and essential,or fragrance oils. These ingredients go into ALL my soaps. A few of my soaps also have botanicals,and natural colorants added to them. The soaps are required to "cure" for 2 weeks. This produces a very mild soap.
