Antique Pansies Soap Company
My Handmade Soaps are made with the finest oils, herbs, and fragrance oils that can be found in the world today. They are made one batch at a time, and hand cut. No two bars are exactly alike, so you know each bar you choose is as unique as you are.
I chose Antique Pansies as my name because the craft is old and the smell is sweet. I would like to pay tribute to both of my Grandmothers and my Mother, they have all taught me very much about life.
With the craft of soapmaking passed down from my Granny, I have taken off on an adventure with an open mind and a happy heart. In 1947 she got her recipe for soap off the back of a can of lye and has made the same soap for 50 years.
Today we have exotic oils and scents of every description at our fingertips and with a click they can be delivered to your door. I feel fortunate to be able to make for pure pleasure what my Granny and countless others before, did out of sheer necessity. Modern technology has played its part, but it is those who have passed down their craft,
shared their recipes and poured water through wood ash to make their lye that I would like to thank.
