2013 is a big year for everyone! It’s the start of a brand new year and time to get your priorities and goals in line. Now is the time to set those goals that you want to accomplish this year and develop a plan to do so. So, this week’s marketing tip will focus on how you CAN reach your goals for 2013.
Expand – Think about new industries you can target for your products or new target markets that you can reach out to, to show them the great products in your store. Have a weekly or monthly meeting and throw out ideas.
Give results – Most businesses like to tell customers what they do and even throw out some of the awards they are known for, which is great. However, give customers more. Give results and the benefits they’ll receive by using you. What will they receive when they shop with your store?
Referrals – Don’t be afraid to ask for referrals. You’ve heard this time and time again, however, do you really ask? Learn to execute how you ask for referrals.
Why should customers do business with you? – Why should they shop with you? Give your customers a reason. Yes, they’ve bought with you in the past, however, that doesn’t meant they’ll keep shopping with you. Make sure you give them a reason with great customer service, loyalty, and great products.
Now is the time to develop a plan to ensure you reach your goals for 2013.
