My First Workout is on a mission to connect parents with their kids. Their purpose is to join you through exercise while instilling a joy for fitness that will last a lifetime. They believe that children who exercise on a regular basis sleep better, handle emotional and physical challenges better, and demonstrate improved cognitive ability.
My First Workout is an exercise program created by the founder and CEO, Michelle Miller, who has been working in the fitness industry for over twenty years. It is a progressive strength and conditioning program focused on children between five and ten years old. The program focuses on key components for all major systems of the body, such as muscle strength and tone, balance, core strength, flexibility, coordination, and stamina, emphasizing the child's enhancement performance and helping in preventing future injuries.
The original program is available in a kit and prepares you for the next 11 programs in the series. Each kit includes workout equipment such as a non-slip exercise mat, aerobic step, sand ball, free weights, and a jump rope. You can also buy a selection of exercise equipment separately online.
