Have you ever heard customers complain about this dilemma: They’re at a fancy dinner party, maybe celebrating a birthday or graduation, and it comes time for the guests to toast their wine glasses to the event. But unless they’re sitting at a fairly small table, most people will have to stretch across the table to toast their glasses with the other guests. It becomes a hassle, and creates more effort than should be necessary at an otherwise relaxed event.
The idea for an invention to make toasting glasses more easily came to Wine Chime Toasting Bar creator Peter Kelley one night while he was at a dinner party with a dozen or so people. He saw the other guests, including himself, stretch across the table to toast a friend’s glass that was too far away to reach comfortably. He thought, “what if there was an easier way to make a toast, without all the uncomfortable stretching?”
So, just for fun, he began making a few of his Wine Chimes in his basement at home, and began selling them to interested friends and neighbors. Pretty soon, he was making hundreds of Wine Chimes in a variety of styles and sizes, and selling them to a larger market.
The Wine Chime is a unique invention that takes a long silver tonal bar, and suspends it using a variety of beautiful bases. The Wine Chime works by clinking a wine glass against the tonal bar, rather than glass to glass contact. This creates a nice metallic note, while making it easier to toast to celebratory events.
The Wine Chime is available in two main styles: for straight tables and for round tables. This makes them perfect for any style of dinner table.
There are also a fantastic variety of bases available to give your Wine Chime a look that fits with any style of home decor. There are beautiful, rounded glass bases that are hand blown by skilled artists, and also granite bases for those looking to accent a more modern style of home. Marble is also a big seller from Wine Chime, and each of these materials comes in a variety of shapes, including round, apple, trapezoid, and cup shaped.
Not only do they function as great pieces to help with dinner party toasting, they also look beautiful as a centerpiece for a table. The Wine Chime’s base can be filled with flowers and foliage, and even have places to put candlesticks for effective mood lighting during a romantic evening for two.
If your customers enjoy dinner parties with friends, or just want to have a romantic and handsome centerpiece for their table, check out the Wine Chime Toasting Bar!
