Kalish Finest Brushes all started with Harry & Ruth. They began selling art supplies in the early 80s because of their mutual passion for fine arts and design. In 1989, a friend of theirs was on tour in Ireland and stumbled upon a small factory making handmade brushes.
Upon his return to the states he shared with Harry & Ruth how wonderful the factory was and how they should consider using them as suppliers. Harry & Ruth jumped on the opportunity and it paid off!
Harry & Ruth submit each design to these Irish artisans who then recreate their design and send back samples. The bond that has been built between owner and supplier is one of a fairy tale in the wholesale brush world. Harry & Ruth share their designs and they are in a hands on dialogue with the supplier to ensure quality work that is not only unique but also an excellent tool to many artists nationwide!
