Montana company 9-Mile Creek Traders is making sure that Old West traditions don’t go unnoticed and forgotten in the world, and is dedicated to making designing and making beautiful products inspired by that time period.
How They Got Started
This business got started when owners Ron and Judy Sass met at a black powder rendezvous in South Dakota in 1986. People kept asking them to make more of their original fur and handmade leather products, so they moved to Montana in 1988 and set up shop!
With some help from the State of Montana Department of Commerce, they got started designing their western-inspired products for wholesale distribution.
