Indosole takes old and discarded rubber tires and transforms them into re-purposed footwear that is both toxic-free and environmentally sustainable.
By taking the old tires that would normally crowd landfills and be burned up, releasing toxic fumes, Indosole takes these tires, cuts them into shape, and applies them to the bottoms of handmade fabric shoes and sandals.
Each Indosole creation is handmade by artisan craftsmen and women, and uses only locally sourced and animal free materials during production, to ensure products that are completely friendly to the environment.
Indosole’s products come in a variety of styles, shapes, and colors, in both men’s and women’s collections. Both collections feature styles like the Boat Shoe and canvas slip-ons, called Kelapas.
There are also casual sneaker styles, including Kota lace-upshoes, and JJs, which are a low top comfortable everyday shoe.
